We provide housing in Almshouses for the elderly residents of
Woodley, Sandford and Charvil.
The Charity also provides help by making small grants as ‘Relief in Need’
for the residents of Woodley, Sandford & Charvil and adjacent parishes.

There are 14 Flats and 4 linked bungalows on the site, plus a small laundry room with two washing machines and one dryer.
There is also a Guest Room for the residents to hire for their guests and a Committee/Day Room which can also be used by the residents for gatherings, birthday celebrations etc.
All the units have one double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, hallway and living room and are maintained to a good standard, being redecorated on a regular basis.
‘relief in need’
We are able to consider one-off requests for purchase assistance for a variety of needs such as beds, cookers, washing machines or various houshold items.
We can also assist with the acquisition of disabled equipment, education needs and breaks for respite care.
Request for assistance must be made in writing, giving details of your full name, address, contact numbers, monthly or annual income, monthly or annual expenditure (including all benefits and savings).
